YESSSSSSS   The day has finally come.   Windows Server 2008 has finally graduated from the Beta and Release Candidate phases and is now RTM.   Along with this Microsoft has also released Windows Vista Service pack 1.

Below is the announcement I was sent today:

"Today, February 4^th, 2008, marks an important milestone for Windows Vista with the announcement Steve Ballmer, Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer, made that stated Microsoft has released Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 to manufacturing (RTM) today"

Im particularly excited about this as I will be presenting on Windows Server 2008 with SharePoint at SPC 2008 this March.
